I love the quote "The highest form of art is to create community," and that's what I hope to do through theatre, for both the cast and the audience. I'm a rising senior fascinated by the sheer power of theatre to communicate, to unite, to change. It provides the opportunity to view and experience the private lives of others while retaining a public objectivity. We can see aspects of ourselves in characters and understand how we influence others. For everyone involved, theatre provides the ultimate opportunity for empathy, and that breeds true community.

WRITING

I write primarily one-acts and ten-minute plays for small casts. My plays have been featured at Long Island's Secret Theatre and The PIT Loft in NYC, as well as on LIU's campus. My one-act The Space We Take Up will compete in the 2020 New York Summerfest in October (postponed due to COVID-19).

In addition to plays, I work as a freelance ghostwriter and blogger, and write personal essays and short fiction. You can find my non-theatrical writing on Thought Catalogue or on my personal blog

DIRECTING

At PTC, I've had the opportunity to assistant direct the 2019 first year showcase Clinging on Closely, Fall 2019's Bluestockings, and the Spring 2020 Production of Measure for Measure.

This summer, I've worked with Frank Sanchez Musicals, directing a fundraiser production of Twelfth Night, and will be directing the children's musical I See, I See later this summer.
